Mario Rotundo Stone and Masonry Inc.  has been specializing in natural stone installations for over 50 years. In order to ensure quality control and pay close attention to detail on every project, we have purposely maintained a small company roster. We take great pride in employing, training and retaining highly skilled masons and mason tenders. Our three lead masons have been employed with MRSM Inc. in excess of 20 years. 

Mario Rotundo Stone and Masonry Inc. has been family-owned and operated since 1965. Our founder, Mario Rotundo, began his training as a mason in his native Italy and continued to hone his skills in Toronto upon his arrival in 1952. Over the years, he has trained and mentored many stone masons using traditional old-school stone masonry techniques that we continue to use today. 

Mario’s son, Pat Rotundo, spent many summers as a teenager working under his father’s tutelage learning the trade. In 1993, after earning a B.A. and an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto, Pat decided to take over the business full-time and assumed the role of President and Principal Director. His wife, Laura is the company Office Manager, handling all corporate administrative duties.

Pat continues to perform work to the high standards MRSM Inc. is renowned for. Although Mario has retired, he continues to be a valuable consultant to Pat and the MRSM Inc. team, offering his extensive knowledge and advice when called upon.
